by Keith Hunt

Here are the minutes for the 1999 meeting of the ACR Board of Directors. This meeting took place from noon to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 1999 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Columbus, OH, USA. ACR President Joe Alba presided.

Draft of 1999 Minutes (for approval at the 2000 Annual Meeting)

This meeting is the formal annual Board of Directors meeting of the Association for Consumer Research. All ACR members are welcome and are encouraged to attend. Anyone present can add items to the agenda for discussion. ACR traditionally welcomes comments from everyone present and often asks for informal votes from everyone present. Because ACR is a nonprofit corporation, only members of the Board of Directors have voting power, thus, on formal matters, only Board member votes determine the outcome.
